What Moves the Price

How tall the grass is

Grass past 8–10 inches usually needs a double-cut or bagging to leave a clean finish instead of windrows of clippings. That extra time is the main difference between a standard price and a custom quote.

Lot size and trim work

Just like recurring service, total turf area and the amount of weed eating around fences, beds, and structures drive the time on site.

Debris and hidden objects

Overgrown lots sometimes hide branches, toys, or rock. If a quick walk-through is needed before we can safely mow, we'll do it free and quote on the spot.

Local Pricing, Local Knowledge

One-time cuts are a big part of what we do along the Highway 92 corridor — houses going on the market, rentals between tenants, vacation catch-ups, and estate properties. Because Smithville, Platte City, and Kearney are on our regular routes, we can usually work a single mow in quickly without a special trip charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to sign up for weekly service to get a one-time mow?
No. One-time mows are a standalone service with no contract and no obligation. Plenty of our customers call us once a year before a graduation party or a listing photo shoot — and that's perfectly fine with us.
My lawn is seriously overgrown. Will you still take it?
Yes. Overgrown lots are quoted individually because they usually need a double-cut, discharge management, or bagging to look right. Send a photo with your square footage or address and we'll get you a price fast — often the same day.
How quickly can you fit in a single mow?
We respond to every request within one business day, and because the Highway 92 towns are on our regular routes we can often add a one-time cut within a few days — sooner if you're flexible on timing.
Can a one-time mow turn into regular service?
Absolutely, and it happens all the time. If you like the cut, we'll simply keep your slot on the route — weekly or every 2 weeks — at our standard recurring rates with no sign-up paperwork.
